Is this an appropriate email for a student business card?

I'm thinking this might seem unprofessional but I like that it sounds cocky

any advice?
Is this an appropriate email for a student business card?
No, not appropriate.

You are better off just using your name
Reply:For business cards using your name is more professional. Plus when you give your card to someone, you want them to remember your name! (=

I own a small business and want to send an email newsletter to my 400+ customer base. How do I do so?

Hi Mitch,

I recently had to promote a function through mass emails, and it was not fun!

I found that Yahoo considered I was spamming if I sent more than 300 emails at a time. They wanted me to have an hour space between the first 300, and the next lot of emails.

The process using my basic yahoo address was also very slow.

I know there is Yahoo Groups which may be more suited to mass emailing, but I am not sure how it works.

You also need to test it several times, to make sure it comes out looking how you would expect it to at the other end.

In the end I used my web host to send the emails, they looked professional and as a bonus they sent me a read receipt, or deleted without being read, without the receiver being aware.

Newsletters are a Great Idea for a small business. Don't go overboard in your first one, and spend the rest of the year trying to live up to it.

I suggest you keep it short %26amp; sweet, with lots of contact details.

I send a 1 page monthly newsletter, it subtly reminds people to pay bills, make appointments, and I also forward it to potentially new clients, to show them what sort of support I provide.

1) Create an email account you will send from, for example: ACME_QTRLY_NEWSLETTER@yahoo.com

2) Compile a list of all the recipients and enter them as contacts.

3) Send the email newsletter to yourself in the TO: line and everyone else in the BCC: line so you dont give away their addresses.

Good luck!
Reply:you can use yahoo mail and going to compose then type in their email and click send.
Reply:you can download a business contact manager for free. You can send a fan out email to your contacts or accounts. It's an outlook product so it will mesh well with our email.
Reply:Depending on your budget, and the payoff from sending the newsletter, DataSystemsOnline might be a solution for you. They will provide you with a complete on-line database and your newsletter can be sent automatically to all active subscribers.
Reply:Hi. You can actually get those pirated mass mailing email software. This software will get all the addresses in a text file or a .csv file and embbed it to your template and send out the email. By doing so..every customer will receive an email with their name on it. It will look like you address it to them only but actually u are mass sending it out. I can't recall the name of the software at this moment but you can search for mass mailing software. Its better than using yahoo or other personal email.

Why isn't business email working?

Access to business email has been intermittent since yesterday afternoon. Luckily I can rely on my blackberry for basic service.
Why isn't business email working?
Same here,. Try using updating your flashplayer at www.adobe.com, and using Mozilla Firefox. Worked for me.
Reply:Exactly, same here. Thank goodness for Blackberry. It was intermittent yesterday and now today I can't get into my business mail at all. Worse yet today, I'm not really sure I'm getting all my business email mail arriving in my Blackberry as it shows only one email for today which is highly unlikely. I keep getting Error Code 14 when I try to get into my mail. I was offered the option to email Yahoo about it and I have.

I use your business email and I can't open any attachments whether it be in adobe or microsoft word form.?

you are barking at the wrong tree

How do I setup a email address for business using .org?

I am trying to setup a an email address for my business and I need to know how to do it using .org
How do I setup a email address for business using .org?
You would have to buy the domain from a domain registrar. Try something like godaddy.com
Reply:you need to setup a web domain with the .org address

then find a host for the domain, and your email.

Relatively simple if you have a name you want that's not taken.

(to not sound rude - i meant that there isn't much to getting a domain registered and hosted.)

As the previous person suggested you can do the whole thing from godaddy.com (it's what I use typically)

They will also tell you all the information you need to use your web site and email addresses.

If you are confused and want help - feel free to email me and I'll step you through it

Yahoo small business email addresses?
I also have a Yahoo! Small Business account and as far as I'm aware of, you have to have a Yahoo! ID in order to check any YSB email account.
