Im not emailing spam ofcourse, just monthly emails to my clients who have agreed to recieving emails from me, however, emails that i sent out, automatically end up in their junk mail, so many of my clients dont get to see it.
I own a small business, how do i stop newsletters that i email from going to peoples junk mail?
Make sure you're not sending email from a 'free' email provider like Hotmail or Yahoo! as these can be automatically marked as Spam.
Register your own domain name, and set up proper mailing list software on it, like PHPList.
Reply:One simple solution is to go to the Yahoo Small Business solutions page and register a domain and create your own website. Every month, post your newsletter on a website page and then send a very small email to your subscriber list with a link directing them to the newsletter page. The smaller email letters have a much better chance of making it through the filters.
Another advantage in this method is that you can set up an "Archive" page with links in your online newsletter page to find the archived newsletters. This allows your clients to view articles in newsletters from past months. You may consider creating links to specific "months" as well as specific articles.
You should also ask your clients to add your email address to their email address folder. Many email filters will check this list first to see if the email sender is a "friend".
